Terms and Quote Policy
Quotes & Estimates
Project quotes may be fixed-price or estimated, depending on the nature of the work. If the full scope is clear, I’ll provide a fixed quote with detailed deliverables. If the scope is open-ended or exploratory, I’ll offer a good-faith estimate with an hourly rate for any additional work beyond the estimate.
In either case, you'll receive a written proposal that clearly outlines the scope, pricing, timeline, and terms before any work begins.
Payment Terms
For most projects, payment is split 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. For longer projects, milestone-based billing may be proposed. Invoices are payable within 15 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge. Work may be paused if payment is significantly delayed.
Timelines & Scheduling
Project timelines are outlined in the proposal and confirmed before work begins. Delays in client feedback or content delivery may shift the final delivery date. I’ll communicate any timeline changes promptly if they arise on my end.
Scope & Change Requests
Quoted projects are based on the scope agreed upon in writing. If you request changes or additions during the project, I’ll provide a revised quote or hourly estimate before proceeding. No surprise charges—ever.
Warranties & Support
All projects include a 2-week post-launch support window for bug fixes and adjustments within the original scope. After that, support is available on a retainer or hourly basis.
I do not warrant third-party services (such as hosting providers, payment gateways, or contributed modules/plugins), but I’ll do my best to work through any issues they create.
Liability
I stand by the quality of my work, but I do not accept liability for business losses, data loss, site downtime, or any indirect damages resulting from the use or failure of the deliverables. All work is provided “as is” and should be reviewed and tested by the client before deployment.
Use of Subcontractors
To deliver work efficiently and at the highest standard, I may engage trusted subcontractors to assist with portions of your project. All subcontracted work is reviewed and managed by me directly. Subcontractors will be required to honor the terms of any NDA or confidentiality agreement I enter into on your behalf, and to sign lien waivers where applicable to ensure clear transfer of work ownership and deliverables.
Need Clarification?
